Every week, you can enjoy chill, relaxing streams from a number of black women creators and streamers. This week only, until June 7, the Black Girl Gamers streams channel on Twitch is donating all of its proceeds to Color of Change and the Bail Project.

Color of Change is America’s largest online racial justice organization, with the aim of creating a more humane and less hostile world for black people. The Bail Project is designed to combat mass incarceration by disrupting the money bail system—one person at a time. While these are American charities, they can use the help wherever you’re from.

If you happen to be in Canada and you would prefer to keep your donations local, here are some Canadian charities to donate to: Black Artists Network Dialogue, Black Health Alliance, Justice for Regis, Hogan’s Alley Society, Black Legal Action Centre.

On June 13, Black Girl Gamers will be hosting an Online Summit on their Twitch channel.

The summit will feature panels, keynote speeches, and more. The event kicks off at 11 a.m. PST / 2 p.m. EST.

Here is their gaming schedule:

I received my first Nintendo at 8 years old in 1984 and I haven’t stopped playing games since. My love of gaming hasn’t slowed and I’m always looking out for the latest trends in gaming and eSports.
