Furthermore, good news now comes from Nottingham, England. That city’s Confetti Institute of Creative Technologies will offer a three-year course on the production of ESports. Confetti is part of Nottingham Trent University.

What will the degree offer?

A thorough ESports grounding

That is easy. Furthermore, it gives students a very thorough grounding in both “the live production and broadcasting technology of esports events”.

The course and degree is in a release.

“We believe now is the right time to launch this degree,” says Confetti CEO Craig Chettle in that release. “It capitalizes on Confetti’s existing expertise in gaming, live and technical events, broadcasting and creative entrepreneurship. And it will offer a mix of theory and practice with real-life work-based-learning at the heart of the course.”

The British Esports Association has endorsed the program. It offers many skills. Also, ESports a great career option.

British Esports delighted

“We are so delighted to see top-class educational institutions such as Confetti getting involved in the Esports education space,” says British Esports Association chair Andy Payne in the release. “[We] are thrilled to be partnering with them for this degree course.

Furthermore, it features instruction and guidance by companies such as Rockstar Games. Rockstar gives the world Grand Theft Auto and Red Dead Redemption.

However, in addition to classes at Confetti, there is also a strong online component. Furthmore, ESports a great career option. That is important because of COVID-19 and the pandemic association with it.
