FaZe Clan makes history by jumping to the legendary pages of DC Comics

Get ready to see your favourite FaZe Clan content creator in comic book form. And not just any old comic book line, but instead what’s arguably the most famous of them all. DC Comics and FaZe Clan have announced that they’re teaming up for a limited-edition project. FaZe Clan stars will be drawn as superheros in a special collector’s comic book.

This will mark the first-ever time an esports lifestyle and gaming organization has entered the world of DC comics. And, understandably, FaZe Clan is thrilled.

In a press release, FaZe Clan head marketer Xavier Ramos states that it’s been an “honor” to work with one of the most iconic names in the comic-book world.

“We loved the idea of taking on a new life form and creating something tangible for our fans for this special collaboration,” Ramos said. “To watch FaZe Clan transcend gaming into traditional entertainment over the years has been nothing short of extraordinary and we can’t wait for our fans to see all of the incredible projects we have coming up.”

Appearing in the comic will be FaZe Adapt, FaZe Rug, FaZe Banks, FaZe Apex, FaZe Temperrr, FaZe Rain, and FaZe Blaze.

And the good news for collectors doesn’t stop there with DC Comics and FaZe Clan. To celebrate its DC Coming triumph, the esports juggernaut will dropping limited-edition merch that includes hoodies, mousepads, T-shirts, and pyjamas. Those items, which will be created with DC artists, will surface on September 24 at noon on shop.cdcomics.com and fazeclan.com.

FaZe Clan’s entrance into the world of comic books is the latest example of the organization spreading its tentacles beyond the world of esports. It’s also teamed up with Xbox and McDonald’s for recent initiatives.
