GearHead: 100 Thieves drops its new Jam Collection this weekend

Life's pretty trippy, when you think about it

Get your credit cards ready, 100 Thieves fans. And prepare to act fast. The Los Angeles–based gaming and lifestyle juggernaut is about to drop its latest apparel line—the Jam Collection.

This afternoon, 100 Thieves tweeted out a photo of Jack “CouRage” Dunlop, Rachel “Valkyrae” Hofstetter, Matthew “Nadeshot” Haag, Ashley “BrookeAB” Bond, and Nicole “Neeko” Sanchez. The 100T members all wore items from the Jam Collection. The tweet also revealed that the collection is set to be released at noon Pacific time on Saturday (November 29).

In truth, all we can tell you about the collection is what the 100 Thieves website tells us. Which isn’t much: “Inspired by tie-dye design, this 12 piece collection features our hallmark red and black colors with a custom swirl dye and gradient patterns.”

From a quick glance at the lookbook, we can see such items as a pullover hoodie, a T-shirt, fleece shorts, and jogging pants.

And, yes, we see lots of tie-dye. Just like your grandparents used to wear in the ’60s and your parents wore in the ’80s. Funny how fashion works, isn’t it? Almost like it’s some kind of cycle that just continuously loops back on itself. Sort of like how 2020 feels.

And that’s pretty trippy, when you think about it.

I have done a lot of different things over the course of my life and professional career. I have interviewed Oscar and Grammy winners and written cover stories for glossy newsstand magazines. I have played guitar in a rock band on national TV and run an independent music label for which I wrote all of the PR and marketing materials. In my spare time, I sweated out a novel about a world where raccoons are kings and dragons are real.
