If a million bucks—and free cosmetics!—sound like heaven, get ready for a new Call of Duty: Mobile tournament

Call of Duty: Mobile players are being given the opportunity to earn big dollars, as game developer Activision has announced a new tournament with US$1 million in prize money up for grabs.

The globe-spanning Call of Duty: Mobile World Championship 2020 Tournament kicks off with online qualifiers on April 30, with those ranked veterans and above eligible for competition. The championship runs to May 24, with online play taking place in multiple stages. Information on where to watch and when will be released by Activision in the coming days.

Call of Duty: Mobile proved an out-of-the-box hit last year when it was released for free. Over 100 million players downloaded it in the first seven days. The Tencent-developed game, which features modes, characters, and weapons from the entire Call of Duty series, has since racked up another 50 million downloads.
