ICYMI: Here’s the complete list of winners from the 2020 Game Awards

The Game Awards

When an awards show can boast the likes of Keanu Reeves, Christopher Nolan, Gal Gadot, and Jonah Hill as presenters, you know there’s some clour behind it.

And that’s not even counting musical performers like Green Day, Eddie Vedder, Chvrches, and the London Philharmonic.

I’m talking about the 2020 Game Awards, of course.

Yes, the Game Awards—which streamed live yesterday from Los Angeles, Tokyo, and London—were kind of a big deal. Name-dropping aside, though, you’re probably reading this to find out who won what. And so, without further ado, the winners (in bold) are…

Big Reveals at Game Awards

Oh, and in case you missed it, there were all sorts of reveals at the Game Awards. We learned, for example, that Sephiroth from Final Fantasy VII will be the next playable fighter in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate.

We also learned, thanks to the jaw-dropping trailer below, that Halo’s Master Chief is coming to Fortnite:

I have done a lot of different things over the course of my life and professional career. I have interviewed Oscar and Grammy winners and written cover stories for glossy newsstand magazines. I have played guitar in a rock band on national TV and run an independent music label for which I wrote all of the PR and marketing materials. In my spare time, I sweated out a novel about a world where raccoons are kings and dragons are real.
