JBL Ups Its Cool Cachet After Scoring an Official-Supplier Deal with the Ultra-Exclusive 100 Thieves
Forget SteelSeries, HyperX, and Turtle Beach—thanks to a major coup, one headset manufacturer is king today, thanks to a deal with one of the most powerful gaming and lifestyle organizations in eSports.
America-based audio giant JBL has been named the official headset supplier for ultra-exclusive 100 Thieves powerhouse. That means you’ll be seeing its JBL QUANTUM Range units in the training rooms, streaming rooms, and production studios of the gloriously high-tech 100 Thieves Cash App compound in Los Angeles.
And you’ll be seeing them on the heads of 100 Thieves associates during both practices and competitions, as well as on its weekly eSports show The Heist on YouTube.
In a press release announcing the deal, JBL marketing officer Ralph Santana said: “Our partnership with 100 Thieves highlights our drive and commitment to launching the world’s best lineup of gaming headsets and speakers to date. These are some of the top competitive gamers in the industry, so we are proud to offer the JBL Quantum Range to help them reach countless more victories. From detecting crossfires to the slightest enemy movements, we developed the JBL Quantum Range to have the most accurate soundscape ever, leaving players to truly feel like they’re inside the game.”
100 Thieves cofounder Matthew “Nadeshot” Haag added: “At 100 Thieves, we all know how important audio is when it comes to wins. Our teams thrive when equipped with the best gear, and JBL’s groundbreaking noise technology helps put us on the path to victory with every play.”
The Quantum series will go on sale to the public on May 4, with seven different models ranging from $55 to $415. Headsets are compatible with almost all gaming systems, including PC, Xbox, Nintendo, Switch, mobile phones, Mac, and PlayStation.
