Vancouver Titans get on track with an important win over the Dallas Fuel

The sky is now the limit.

Vancouver-Titans

The new-look Vancouver Titans are officially off the snide.

Looking back, this has been a somewhat trying season for the Lotusland-based Overwatch League team. First of all, there was the monkey wrench that the COVID-19 pandemic threw into the season.

That led to the entire 2020 opening roster being flown home to Korea. Then came the realization that managing the team long-distance was a challenge. In response, management severed ties with the players and started fresh with new signings.

Week 20 Overwatch League play has seen that new roster—which includes Abtin “ShRedLock” Shirvani, Randal “Roolf” Stark, and Dalton “Dalton” Bennyhoff—rewarded.

Finally gelling after six games together, the Vancouver Titans scored a decisive 3-0 victory against the favoured Dallas Fuel. Niclas “sHockWave” Jensen led the charge. He joined the team as it was gearing up for the May Melee.

The Titans now sit in 18th place in the 20-team Overwatch League. Week 21 will see the West Coast squad face off against the 10th place Atlanta Reign and the cellar-dwelling Boston Uprising.
